How do the right questions help you access text better? What difficulties did you find asking questions?

I find that asking the right questions allow you to access different perspectives of the text. The can help you find out information that was not as evident as it was before. My difficulties in asking questions was what type of questions to ask and when it was appropriate to ask certain ones as well.

Directors

What are the factors that influence how a director presents a scene? Why do you think different directors see things so differently?

 I think that it all depends on that actors mindset. For example: the three different scenes we watched with the three different witches. They were all set in different times and the witches themselves were all differently dressed and acted different as well..

Paranoia

Are Macbeth’s paranoia due to his own weakness or a consequence of what he did?

I think that Macbeth's paranoia is a consequensce of what he did. I believe that a higher power wants him to suffer for what he had done and make him confess for what he has done.

What do you think?

Describe the process you took to present your scene.  What went well? Not so well? What would you do differently next time you had to do a scene?

At first Me, Darmel, Jazmyne, Danielle and Oscar were suppose to practise our scene over the weekend and thenlater on during the week. But, Darmel and myself did not show up for the practices. But on the day of our scene we dressed up and had alot of props, including music, a cauldron, a crown, a baby doll and kilts.. Overall  I think that we did pretty well, but I think I personally could have done better with remembering my lines and we could have done the part when Darmel fell out of the cauldron better..

Weakness

Who is weaker? Macbeth or Lady Macbeth?  Why?
I believe that Lady Macbeth is the weaker one in the play because she took her own life. But Macbeth not cower in fear of being killed, he fought to his death not fearing anything. He stood his ground and fought Macduff, even though he died at the end. I think that if you take your own life it is worse then maning up and taking the responsibilities for your actions.

To Act or Not To Act

Discuss inaction. Is one less guilty of a crime if they let it happen but did not take an active role in it? Compare inaction to action---Are there levels of guilt?

Inaction can cause you to be as guilty as the person that actually commited the crime, but most of the time it isn't as commitable as the actual crime.

Why do you think the author had Macbeth win, though he wrote Fortune seemed to favor Macdonwald?  What sort of man fights like Macbeth did? 

I think that the author had Macbeth win the fight because because he was the better fighter. And although fortune seemed to favor Macdonwald he still lost, thus showing us that Macbeth was the more talented fighter. But believe that Macbeth really won because he is the Main Character :3

Do predictions come true?

Do predictions come true because they were destined to come true, or because people make them happen because it was predicted (like a self-fulfilling prophesy)?

I believe that there are many ways that predictions can come true. They come both ways, but it all depends on that person. Depending if that person is dedicated enough to make their own or even another persons prediction to come true. But it take a while it doesn't just happen over night, you have to and try and accomplish your goal or mission first for a prediction to come true.

What witch is my favorite?

Now that you have seen several versions of the witches, which version do you think is the best?
The old witches, the nurse witches, the girl witches, or the male witches?  Back up your argument with reasons and examples.


I liked each of the the different versions, but part of each one. I liked what the witches did in the first movie, i liked how the witches looked in the secong one. I really liked the setting of the witches that were in the war time in the hospital, but the best acting one was the witches that were accting on stage.
